²³ “Martha, the sister of him that was dead, says unto Him, Lord, by this time he stinks: for he has been [dead] four days. Jesus says unto her, Have I not said unto you, that, if you believe, you shall see the glory of God?” What does He mean by this, “you shall see the glory of God”? That He can raise to life even one who is putrid and has been four days [dead]. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; and, “Where sin abounded, grace also did superabound.”
